About
The Premier Network for Texas In-House Excellence.
The Forum provides a community for Texas’s leading counsel to break out of their silos and collaborate on the industry’s biggest challenges. Through chapter-based programming and high-impact networking, we create a private arena for members to exchange battle-tested best practices, spearhead thought leadership, and build the relationships that define the Texas legal community.
The Power of the Forum.
Innovation doesn’t happen in a vacuum—it happens when the state’s most sophisticated legal minds collaborate. While many platforms prioritize volume, the Forum is built on the belief that the value of a network is defined by the caliber of its participants.
Peer-Only Membership
Unlike other legal associations, we maintain a strictly guarded membership tier. Eligibility is reserved exclusively for General Counsel and Senior Managing Counsel with significant leadership responsibilities. This ensures every conversation you have is with a true peer who understands the unique pressures of the executive suite.
Underwriter Partnership
Our founders envisioned a more meaningful way to engage with the legal supply chain. Our “Underwriters”—premier law firms and service providers—are not just sponsors; they are strategic partners. Their contributions allow us to maintain accessible dues while providing our members with high-level resources and a vetted network of industry experts.
The Heartbeat of Texas Legal Leadership.
With power centers in Austin-San Antonio, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Houston, we bridge the gap between statewide reach and local impact. Our chapters unite leaders from Texas’s most prominent industries, offering a robust calendar of events where the state’s top legal minds find a nearby sanctuary for peer-level collaboration.

The Pulse of the Chapter.
Our three chapters—Austin-San Antonio, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Houston—serve as the primary hubs for regular engagement. Throughout the year, members participate in:
Advanced Dialogue
High-level exchanges on current legal trends during our Roundtable Lunches and Forum Focus Series.
Best-Practice Strategy
In-depth Quarterly Programs and Virtual CLE Programs tackle the most pressing issues facing today’s legal departments.
Relationship Building
Social functions designed for genuine connection, including Forum After Hours Events, Forum Women Events, and annual holiday receptions.
The Statewide Standard.
Beyond the local chapters, the Forum hosts flagship annual events that bring together the best legal minds in Texas for professional development and recognition:
Leadership Institute
A prestigious program in the spring, developed in association with the SMU Cox School of Business. This GC-designed curriculum equips attendees with elite-level leadership and financial management skills.
Annual Conference
Our premier fall gathering, included in membership, featuring dynamic, fast-paced insights from industry icons on the future of the legal profession.
Distinguished Recognition
We celebrate the pinnacle of integrity and excellence in the in-house community at our two marquee awards galas: the Magna Stella Awards and the Dedman Award.
