Texas General Counsel Forum invites you to join us for our Austin-San Antonio Chapter’s Quarterly Program on Thursday, May 1, 2025 featuring Colonel Christopher M. Ford, Army Futures Command’s General Counsel. The United States Army Futures Command (AFC) leads the Army’s force modernization efforts by determining its strategic direction and maintaining accountability for modernization solutions. It is headquartered in Austin and has more than 17,000 personnel worldwide. Colonel Ford will provide an overview of AFC and discuss the Army’s modernization efforts and his work as the command’s principal legal advisor.
