DFW Quarterly Program
Join the Texas General Counsel Forum DFW Chapter for a special 3rd Quarterly Program and Breakfast on Tuesday, September 8th as we gather at the George W. Bush Presidential Center for a solemn and inspiring commemoration of the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
In remembrance of the events that reshaped our nation, this program offers comments from two individuals who held positions with the United States Government allowing them to observe firsthand certain of the events on 9/11 and its aftermath, giving them close up observations of the horrific nature of the terrorist attacks, the leadership on that day and in the days after the attacks, crisis management, and the resilience and fortitude of the American people. Offering remarks, and available for a brief question and answer period, will be Harriet Miers, former White House Counsel, Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, and Staff Secretary to President George W. Bush, and Robert W. Jordan, former U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, who took charge of his embassy in the weeks following the attacks.
PARKING: Visitor parking is available on a first come, first served basis in the Bush Center Visitor Parking Lot located on the northeast corner of SMU Boulevard and Bush Avenue. Enter the lot from Bush Avenue. Take a ticket to enter the visitor parking. Click here for parking map and more information.
BONUS MUSEUM ACCESS: Take advantage of your time on-site! We are pleased to offer a limited number of complimentary “day of” museum passes for event attendees.
