From pioneering historic “firsts” in the courtroom to overhauling state and federal legislation, these women have led the charge for social change. Their stories serve as a powerful reminder of an often-overlooked legacy and a call to action: that the pursuit of equality under the law is an ongoing journey—one that relies on the strength of our community and a shared promise for a better future.\nSpecial Guests: We are honored to welcome the film’s Executive Producers Chelsea Hilliard (Immediate Past DWLA President; Dorsey) and Kandice Walter (Immediate Past JL Turner President; Walter Legal PLLC), who will be available for a post-screening Q&A.\nAward Recognition: Winner of the State Bar of Texas “Star of Achievement” Award and Outstanding Member Program Award from the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations.\nEvent Details: Reception begins at 2:00 PM followed by welcome remarks at 2:45 PM.
