13th Annual Conference of General Counsel

Once again, last year's Conference of General Counsel separated it from all other legal conferences. The audience of general counsel, managing counsel, and Forum underwriters and sponsors spent the day with 7 speakers in an intimate theater-in-the-round setting (click on the camera below to see pictures from the conference). Our keynote speaker-Adam Bryant-provided one of his first presentations about his new book, The Corner Office-a compendium of 63 interviews of CEOs regarding leadership. Conference participants recieved a copy of the book and had plenty of time to ask questions of the author. Our other speakers provided insightful presentations ranging from personal leadership performance, and how to manage a multigenerational workforce, to right-sizing a legal department. The 2012 General Counsel Forum Annual Golf Tournament will be held at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort--

the newest addition to the PGA Tour’s TPC Network of premier clubs. TPC San Antonio opened for play in February 2010 with

36 holes of golf designed by two of golf’s most respected and innovative architects and World Golf of Fame members, Pete

Dye and Greg Norman. TPC San Antonio is also the new host for the annual Valero Texas Open.
