The analysis for nuclear power as San Antonio's next generation resource has been studied for more than three years and hotly debated for the past six months. Join us as our panel discusses the rationale for choosing nuclear generation to serve San Antonio, how the CPS Energy Board voted on the nuclear issue and the decision the San Antonio City Council is facing later this month. Diana Liebmann has served for several months on the Chamber's Nuclear Energy Task Force and also participated in the San Antonio Clean Technology Forum. In that role she has been studying the alternatives, and was co-author of the Greater Chamber's recommendation on San Antonio's energy future. Joe Krier has a perspective on how nuclear generation will affect the San Antonio business community. We have also extended an invitation to an expert in the nuclear energy field, who will speak about the technical and safety issues surrounding the nuclear generation resource. Our own Bob Temple of CPS Energy will moderate the panel.
