Each year the Dallas-Ft. Worth Chapter of the Texas General Counsel Forum selects an individual whose dedication to ethics in business, communication and management practices has distinguished them among their peers. The award was established in 2001 to honor the award's first recipient, the late Robert H. Dedman, for his commitment to ethics. This year's recipient will be honored at the 18th Annual Dedman Award Dinner. In addition to the award, deserving second-year law students from the SMU Dedman School of Law are presented with a scholarship at the dinner.
